Bio
Yifu Cai is a Master’s student in Machine Learning (MSML) at Carnegie Mellon University. He works at the Auton Lab under the supervision of Prof. Artur Dubrawski at the Robotics Institute.
His interests center on integrating deep learning into time-series analysis. This includes developing time-series foundation models, aligning time-series with text (with applications in the medical domain), building reasoning benchmarks to evaluate LLM understanding of time-series, and designing agentic pipelines for practical time-series machine learning workflows.
